BusinessCloud can reveal its FinTech 50 innovation ranking for 2024.

Our readers and an expert judging panel have together decided the 50 companies blazing a technology trail in finance.

The FinTech 50 celebrates businesses of all sizes creating original tech for payments and the financial industry.

Round Treasury, a banking and treasury platform, tops the ranking. Founded by Pac O’Shea and Hayyaan Ahmad, it is designed to make life easier for founders and CFOs by simplifying cash management and protection.

In second spot is Suits Me, which offers personal accounts to those who struggle to open a traditional high street bank account. These accounts include all the features needed to manage money.

Collctiv, a group payments app, is fourth behind Paysafe. Collctiv helps group organisers collect money for activities and large gifts by enabling them to send just one link and receive payments in less than 5 seconds – regardless of the banking or payments platform their group uses.

Positions 5-7 are taken by 10x Banking, Shieldpay and Allica Bank.

Following them is Blackbullion, which partners with universities to provide digital financial education to students, and Lemon, a financing platform that helps SaaS sales teams close bigger deals by offering their prospects flexible monthly payments for annual & multi-year plans.

In 10th is VibePay, an app which combines messaging with peer-to-peer payments and is seen as an alternative to traditional payment rails which are sometimes criticised for high fees and delays.

In 11th is My Digital, which was created to address challenges around payroll by harnessing automation and streamlining workflows to deliver unprecedented accuracy and speed.

Also featuring is Delio, creator of a suite of integrated or modular products which deliver an end-to-end private markets infrastructure that is trusted by the world’s leading financial institutions; and Snoop, a data-driven platform designed to help customers save money, make better financial decisions and navigate the cost-of-living crisis.

The FinTech 50 2024 ranking is supported by Started, a PR and marketing agency for world-changing FinTech brands and entrepreneurs.

Kimberley Waldron, founder & MD, Started PR said: “Being a judge on this year’s FinTech 50 ranking was a welcome reminder of the energy and ingenuity that continues to drive the FinTech industry.

“We are in a shared pursuit of ‘better’ when it comes to the provision of financial services, and this shows when we have businesses off all stages recognised together. Congratulations to all those featured in the top 50.”
