Nina Arundel has been confirmed as the new global leader of business development and marketing for RSM International. She steps into the worldwide role, having fulfilled the same function for RSM’s UK member-firm.

RSM is an international network of independent accounting and advisory firms, operating in 120 countries across 820 offices – and with over 64,000 staff. It commands combined annual revenues in excess of $9 billion, for audit and advisory services rendered by its network members.

As the organisation looks to boost its global profile, RSM International has announced the appointment of a new head of its business development and marketing function. Nina Arundel was formerly the lead of RSM’s UT marketing, business development and client experience teams.

Arundel said of her promotion, “I’m excited to support RSM’s delivery of compelling experiences for our growing client base by enhancing global collaboration within our service lines and industries. My focus will be on strengthening our network-wide business development and client experience capability, as well as creating value-adding global insights that support businesses to navigate an ever-changing and complex world with confidence.”

She first joined RSM in 2005, initially working as a business development manager. Before her 18-year stint with the firm, Arundel also spent time as a business development executive with Grant Thornton. Her newest role with RSM sees her join the leadership team at RSM’s Global Executive Office (GEO) in London, leading the global business development, brand and digital and marketing communications teams.

She succeeds James Grant, who steps down from the role following a three-year tenure in the post. Mirroring Arundel’s ascent, he also previously spent 12 years as a senior marketing and business development leader at RSM UK.

Speaking on the news, E. J. Nedder, CEO at RSM International, added, “We are very grateful for James’ leadership and expertise throughout his time with us, which has contributed to our global success, and he leaves with our best wishes. RSM is delighted to welcome Nina to the GEO, where her extensive knowledge of our marketplace, understanding of global industry strategies and client experience will be pivotal. Nina’s appointment will see her initiating several new projects in support of the 2030 Global Strategy, as well as continuing her previous support of existing global initiatives, including the development of growth platforms and our Women in Leadership summits.”
