Schuh embrace inclusive shopping with single shoe offer for those with disabilities

Must read

It may be 2024 but the fashion industry still has a long way to go when it comes to inclusivity. So when a brand like Schuh steps up to make a real difference, it’s cause for celebration in our books.

UK-based footwear retailer Schuh has just introduced an exciting new initiative: shoppers who need single shoes due to disabilities or limb differences can now buy them individually for 50 per cent off in their stores across the UK and Ireland. And for those who need differently-sized shoes, you’ll now be able to buy them separately instead of having to purchase two pairs, talk about game-changing.

A huge win for inclusivity, this move shows the brand’s dedication to making sure everyone can find what they need without compromise. Schuh has been a trailblazer in promoting diversity, at least 10 per cent of their e-commerce photos feature disabled models and you’ll spot a range of diverse faces across their sites and socials – more of this please and thank you.

Often accommodating for disabilities has meant style has had to take a backseat. No more having to choose between function and fashion—Schuh’s vast collection includes the latest drops from best-selling brands like adidas, New Balance and Asics and styles from heels to slippers and everything in between.

If you can’t make it down to one of the brick-and-mortar stores, this offer is still available online through the customer experience team online.
