Wycombe burger joint Burger Daddy, currently based on Desborough Road, will be one of several ‘exciting’ businesses arriving at the Eden Centre this year – joining American chain Taco Bell to diversify the complex’s gastronomical scene.
George James, who opened Burger Daddy seven years ago before expanding to a second branch in Aylesbury last year, said the move was part of a continued drive to “create the ultimate burger and BBQ smokehouse experience in the UK”.
He said the new shopping centre base would become the burgeoning chain’s flagship store and focus on “full-blown smoked meats and (a) BBQ experience” within a “cool dine-in setting”.

It is set to open its doors in early November, with a spokesperson for the Eden Centre confirming that Taco Bell would also begin welcoming diners “before the year is out” alongside “a number of other exciting openings over the coming weeks and months”.
Burger Daddy, described by George as a “snug, straightforward venue delivering heaped burgers with fries (alongside) macaroni and cheese dishes”, is one of the town’s most popular dining spots, with recent Google reviews praising its “scrumptious” food and “outstanding” service.
The Free Press revealed that Taco Bell was eyeing up the former Bill’s unit in Eden back in August, prompting mixed reactions from locals, some of whom were glad to welcome a “tasty and reasonably-priced” foodie spot while others criticised the arrival of “yet another fast-food restaurant”.
