You’d be forgiven for assuming that Sienna Miller would opt for a boho-chic look to attend this year’s Venice Film Festival, given that the trend is having a major comeback right now and the actor has historically been one of its biggest proponents.
But it seems even Miller can’t resist the allure of a high-glamour red carpet moment every once in a while: at the premiere of Orizzonti Corti last night, she left the floaty fabrics and ethereal silhouettes at home, and instead channeled classic Hollywood.
The actor made her first appearance at the Venice Film Festival since 2019 on Friday, September 6, alongside boyfriend Oli Green, for the screening of a short film that she executive-produced.

Miller surprised fans by stepping out in a sultry all-black look for the occasion, pairing her velvet Giorgio Armani gown — featuring a dramatic plunging neckline — with heeled Aquazzura sandals, sunglasses, a huge diamond ring and a matching white gold and diamond pendant necklace.
True, we’re used to seeing the actor in more low-key, vintage-inspired looks, although a few Miller style signatures were still present: her dress was archival rather than current-season, while her effortless, beachy-waves hairstyle and natural make-up were very true to form. Her decision to wear sunglasses on the red carpet felt typical of her cool girl persona, too.
Is this the start of a new, ultra-glamorous style era for Miller, or simply an epic one-off? Only time will tell.
