Sky Sports launches huge £335 saving in time for Premier League season

Football fans can savour the entire 2024/25 Premier League season in stunning Ultra HD and make a big saving with Sky’s new ‘lowest price’ deal. The TV and broadband provider is currently offering its Sky Sports, Sky Stream, Sky TV and Netflix bundle for £43 a month, down from £52.

This saves members £216, plus an additional £119.76 with Netflix included at no extra cost – a staggering total saving of £335.76 over the 24-month term. With this, Sky members can enjoy nine dedicated Sky Sports channels, featuring 1,400 live matches across the Premier League, EFL and more.

The offer arrives just in time for the new Premier League season, which kicks off on August 16 as Manchester United face Fulham at Old Trafford. What’s more, with UHD included at no extra cost, members can enjoy a raft of TV series, films and sporting events with four times the detail of HD.

The package includes a new Sky Stream box, which allows members to stream live and on-demand content to the TV without the need for a satellite dish or aerial. Sky Stream includes the same premium channels as traditional Sky, including Sky Atlantic, Sky Documentaries and Comedy Central, as well as providing easy access to Netflix.

This means those who opt for the Sky Sports deal can catch the brand-new second season of HBO’s House of the Dragon, blockbuster box sets like the complete Game of Thrones and The Walking Dead, plus Netflix hits such as Baby Reindeer, Bridgerton and Cobra Kai.

Sky Stream provides easy access to a bevy of films and shows on streaming apps like Disney+, Amazon’s Prime Video and Apple TV+, which Sky members can get free for three months with Sky VIP. Moreover, the box offers a plug-and-play setup, eliminating the need for an engineer visit.

The service also regularly receives a host of free updates, including voice control for fast-forwarding and rewinding and reduced latency on Sky Sports Main Event. Sky has recently announced the introduction of six new channels available to Sky Stream members at no additional cost, including Pick Paranormal, Sky Sports Stories, Sky Sports Classics and Sky Sports Vault.

Alternatively, Virgin Media is giving away a free Nintendo Switch or £150 bill credit to customers signing up to one of its TV and broadband bundles by August 4. The deal is available with packages including the Biggest Combo bundle and Mega Volt bundle.

Virgin’s plans include hundreds of TV channels, with select bundles including Sky Sports and Sky Cinema and a free Netflix subscription, as well as superfast fibre broadband with speeds up to 1130Mbps. Prices start at £59.99 a month for the Bigger Combo bundle + Sports HD, which includes eight Sky Sports channels as standard.
