Signal fault between Aylesbury Vale Parkway and Amersham

There’s been a fault with the signalling system at Great Missenden which has caused delays on the lines between Aylesbury Vale Parkway and Amersham.

This is impacting Chiltern Railways services.

While lines have reopened after being closed temporarily, passengers could still face delays of up to 20 minutes.

The disruption is expected to last until 10am.

Disruption between Selby and Doncaster for fourth day

The ongoing disruption to Hull Trains and LNER services between Selby and Doncaster has entered its fourth day.

A points failure in the Selby area is causing disruption to journeys between the two stations.

Network Rail engineers are still working on a fix, but ‘significant repairs’ to the faulty points are required.

Hull Trains and LNER services between Selby and Doncaster will be cancelled, revised or diverted via Goole. Trains won’t be stopping at Howden and Selby.

The issue is expected to last until the end of the week.

Northern and TransPennine Express services that run through Selby are unaffected by this disruption.
