Last weekend marked the grand opening of The Coffee House at Cockhedge Shopping Centre.
This was a significant milestone in the journey of brothers Chris and Stephen Shelmerdine who founded the business back in 2011 with its first store in Lymm.
“We set out with a mission to open 25 stores by 2025, and we’re proud to say that Cockhedge marks the achievement of this goal ahead of schedule,” said co-founder Chris Shelmerdine.
“Not only have we reached our goal, but we’re on track to open even more stores by the end of the year.”
Cockhedge is the business’ fourth location in Warrington, adding to its shops in Golden Square, Stockton Heath and Lymm, making it even more of a meaningful expansion for Chris and Ste who are both from the town.
Daisy, the manager of the new store, has moved from The Coffee House’s Golden Square branch.
Having been with the company for several years, Daisy is ‘dedicated to providing the same high-quality service and community spirit’ that customers have come to expect.
“I’m excited to take on this new role at Cockhedge and continue to be part of the Warrington community,” Daisy said.
“I’ve loved working at Golden Square, and I’m thrilled to bring that same energy to our new store.
“Cockhedge has a special charm, and I can’t wait to see it become a go-to spot for more Warrington locals.”
It is located next to Asda.
