The UFC is going back to Las Vegas for UFC 303 this Saturday (29th June 2024). Conor McGregor was expected to return to the cage in the main event against Michael Chandler. This would have been McGregor’s first fight in the UFC since July 10th 2021. However, due to breaking his pinkie toe Conor McGregor was forced into withdrawing from the fight. UFC has since called in Alex Pereira and Jiri Prochazka to main event UFC 303 on short notice. This fight will be for Alex Pereira’s light heavyweight title.
There are a lot of interesting fights on this pay-per-view for the fans to watch. This includes the co-main event when Diego Lopes will be facing Brain Ortega in a lightweight contest. Diego Lopes is currently on a 3-fight winning streak. He will be looking to move up in the featherweight rankings with a win over the number 3 ranked contender. Brain Ortega will look to increase his stock in the featherweight division after he was able to get the victory last time out against Yair Rodriguez. Also featured on this card Mayra Bueno Silva is making the walk into the cage after she was unsuccessful in her title bid and Ian Garry will face off against Michael Page in the most intriguing.
