The marketplace is launching with 150 key brands, including Ray-Ban, L’Oréal Paris, Garnier, Marc Jacobs, Michael Kors, Revolution Beauty, Alexander McQueen, Balenciaga, Gucci, Valentino, Off White, Urban Bliss, Hunter, Puma and Crocs. More brands will be on board every week.
UK-based global fashion e-tailer Boohoo recently launched its ‘boohoo brands’ marketplace powered by e-commerce software Mirakl to host a curated edit of fashion, lifestyle and beauty brands, allowing direct shopping by consumers on its website.
It will go live on July 31.
The marketplace is launching with 150 key brands and more will be on board every week.
Boohoo had acquired in 2021 British department store chain Debenhams, whose marketplace launch was powered by e-commerce software Mirakl. The same technology has been used to launch the new marketplace.
“This initiative reflects our commitment to providing our customers with diverse and high-quality options, all in one convenient place. By partnering with some of the most complementary brands, we’re enhancing the shopping experience and ensuring that boohoo.com remains a leading destination for UK consumers,” Boohoo chief product officer James Blacklock was quoted as saying by UK media reports.
