The LFB’s latest statement on the ongoing fire at Cricklewood, which has prompted National Highways to shut parts of the M1, said crews from at least three boroughs have intervened.
The statement read: “Six fire engines and around 40 firefighters are tackling a fire at a commercial unit on Adrian Avenue in Cricklewood. A commercial unit is alight.
“One of the Brigade’s 32-metre turntable ladders is being used at the scene to help fight the fire from above.
“Control Officers took the first of 11 calls at 1550. Crews from Hendon, West Hampstead, Willesden and surrounding fire stations are attending the scene.”
They added: “The cause of the fire is not yet known.”
