World’s youngest billionaire worth more than Barack Obama and Beyoncé combined

Must read

The world’s youngest billionaires have been named and the youngest is just 19-years-old.

Livia Voigt is the world’s youngest billionaire with a huge net worth of £867 million.

In US dollars, her fortune is worth $1.1 billion, making her the world’s youngest billionaire.

Her net worth is more than the combined value of former USA President, Barack Obama, whose net worth is reportedly £55.1 million ($70 million) and pop star Beyoncé whose net worth is reportedly £598.4 million ($760 million).

Combined, this comes to a total of £653.6 million ($830 million) – less than of Livia Voigt.

Voigt is a Brazil national and gains her wealth from the industrial machinery industry.

She will turn 20 next July and is just two months younger than Clemente Del Vecchio who is the next youngest billionaire, reports Forbes.

She owns 3.1% of WEG, a Brazilian electrical equipment producer.

She has pulled in millions from dividends along with her sister, Dora Voigt de Assis, who is also one of the world’s youngest billionaires at the age of 26.

The sisters are the granddaughters of Werner Ricardo Voigt, the billionaire cofounder of WEG, who died in 2016.

They each own 3.1% of WEG, slightly less than the 3.9% stakes owned by their older cousins Eduardo and Mariana.

WEG exports to over 135 countries and is one of the world’s biggest electric motor manufacturers.

Livia Voigt is currently enrolled in university and is completing coursework in psychology.

Just missing out on the title of world’s youngest billionaire is Clemente Del Vecchio, 19, from Italy.

Vecchio gains his wealth from eyeglasses and has a net worth of £3.7 billion ($4.7 Billion).

He is the third Del Vecchio sibling and the fourth heir to an eyeglasses fortune among the 33-and-under set.

Like his brothers, he owns 12.5% of the holding company Delfin, which has stakes in a range of companies that include the Ray-Ban producer EssilorLuxottica.
