The Block bidder Adrian ‘Mr Lambo’ Portelli has downsized what he drives from an $800,000 sports car to a $40,000 Audi, after complaints he was flaunting his lifestyle.
The millionaire property investor, 35, who is known for his multi-million dollar sports car collection, shared a photo to Instagram on Saturday of him posing up a storm with his more modest new vehicle.
Portelli was all smiles in the picture as he stood alongside the slick four door, which had a hilarious sticker on its rear window, which read: ‘My other car is a Lamborghini’.
He captioned the snap with some telling words: ‘A couple of butt-hurt people about my recent vehicle purchases.
‘So I’ve decided to tone it down and drive my little Audi A1 for a while.’

However, fans were quick to note the vehicle sported a unique licence plate which said ’20’, with one person claiming the cost of purchasing that plate would have exceeded the price of the car.
‘I think your registration plate is worth more than my car,’ one follower wrote and a second person added: ‘It sold on Tuesday for $2.54million.’
The millionaire property investor, 35, who is well known for his multi-million dollar sports car collection, received complaints about flaunting his wealth so won’t be driving his $800,000 Lamborghini for awhile
It comes after Adrian gave fans a glimpse of his lavish car collection earlier this month when he shared a video of the garage at one of his homes.
Taking to his Instagram Stories, he revealed five vehicles were parked in the large carport, including a Lamborghini, high tech dune buggy, and a gold buggy.
Adrian, who first shot to fame as a buyer on The Block and has a well-known taste for flashy cars, also owns a McLaren Senna which he revealed earlier this year.
The wealthy property investor posted a gallery of photos to Instagram showcasing the rare vehicle which is housed in his high-rise penthouse overlooking Melbourne.
